THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW

The colors of the rainbow look so sweet.

Pretty and bright, they’re good enough to eat.

They keep me healthy or so I’m told, If I eat them all I’ll get a pot of gold.

Picking red strawberries from a field,

I eat a yellow banana with every meal

Oranges full of vitamin C, keep a runny nose far away from me.

 CHORUS

Don’t you know, I eat the colors of the rainbow.

I love the colors of the rainbow.

I eat the colors of the rainbow.

We’re all colors of the rainbow.

Pass the green peas if you please,

And make a mushy avocado into guacamole.

I like blueberry pancakes at breakfast time,

And sucking purple plums in the hot sunshine.

 CHORUS

Looking up high, in the sky, it’s a piece of pumpkin pie

Oh T he colors of the rainbow look so sweet.

Pretty and bright, they’re good enough to eat.

They keep me healthy or so I’m told,

If I eat them all I’ll get a pot of gold.

 CHORUS

Red, Orange, Yellow, blue and green,

Indigo and Violet the prettiest I’ve seen.

Red, Orange, Yellow, blue and green,

Indigo and Violet the prettiest I’ve seen.

Red, Orange, Yellow, blue and green,

Indigo and Violet the prettiest I’ve ever seen. The prettiest I’ve ever seen.
